Title: Senior Technical Project Manager- Remote
Location: Remote
Duration: 6 Months

Job Description:

• As a Sr. Technical Project Manager, they will be leading a large integration project within a Technology tower.
• The Sr. Technical Project Manager straddles two disciplines, like any project manager they plan, schedule, and manage projects; however, they also need experience and knowledge of software installation, upgrades, site maintenance, and development.
• Our Sr. Technical Project Managers are assigned projects with higher risk and revenue opportunities for the organization.
• You lead the planning and implementation of project(s) while being accountable for ensuring key stakeholder alignment on project scope, budget, resource plan, key milestone management, and risk management.
• You collaborate with technology teammates and project stakeholders to develop a project plan that organizes tasks, schedules work, creates a budget, and allocates resources.
• You regularly meet with project stakeholders to manage their expectations, keep them updated, and make sure the project aligns with their goals/expectations.
• You coordinate keeping project artifacts up to date in Client business systems like ServiceNow, Smartsheet, and SharePoint, also responsible for creating project monitoring tools like Dashboards and Risk logs to avoid project pitfalls.
• You escalate issues and impacts to project timelines and work proactively with teams to remove barriers to execution.
• You oversee the budget and make sure project actual costs are in line with the budget.
• Role is accountable for delivering technology solutions that support Revenue in our DTC Journey, ex. Ecommerce, Retail, and Marketing. Example projects include new Headless Front End for Client, RFID Project for Retail Stores.
• Collaborating with team members to develop solutions
• Participating in daily stand-up meetings
• Managing backlog and tracking tickets
• Optimizing integrations and ensuring smooth workflows
• Overseeing migration processes and coordinating with team members
• Handling three large-scale projects
• Scheduling and leading meetings
• Building strong relationships with core team members and project managers
• Working closely with the back-end core team

Role Details & Highlights:

• The role could deliver Operational and Strategic Projects in our Enterprise Journey, for example new PLM System and AWS Cost Saving Initiatives
• The role requires some supervision from leadership in Technology PMO
• Taking on challenges that cross teams, ex. Aligning Product Roadmaps, Resource Planning, and Scheduling, and Process Improvements to reduce friction in working together
• Frequent communications to folks within Global Technology and outside like Legal, Product Marketing, Procurement, and Finance
• Influencer on how we deliver work in Global Technology
• Deals with both shared and opposing interests
• Senior Project Manager is the servant leader to multiple teams. They must lead without direct authority.
• Mentor fellow project managers in the Technology PMO.
• No Direct Reports, this is an Individual Contributor Role.
• Master in Agile Methodologies
• Consumer Facing Software Development ex. Mobile App Development, Web Development
• Experience with diverse technology stacks like Hardware, Backend Platforms, Middleware, and Frontend applications.
• Comfortable in a highly competitive, collaborative, and fast-paced work environment.
• Experience with SAP IS
• Background in the retail industry
• Knowledge of SAP ERP
• Strong technical and solution-oriented mindset

Education:

• Engineering or Other Technology, Bachelor's.

Interview Process:

• Two-panel interviews

Experience:

• 8+ years of Project Management Experience in a Technology environment.

Licenses/ Certifications:

• Certified Scrum Master, PMP Professional.

Qualifications:

• Experience leading, coaching, and developing technical teams.

Critical Skills:

• Agile or other Software Development methodologies.

Required Technologies: Integration Layer Background (SAP IS, NodeJS, Any JSON background).

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Technologies: Retail Experience

Minimum Years of Experience Required: 8

Training Duration: 2 weeks
