Location : This is a hybrid (virtual/onsite) position with required onsite days on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday assigned to Parnall located in Jackson, MI. The selected candidate must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate (relocation package is available for those that qualify).
The Energy Market Analyst is responsible for evaluating and optimizing MISO energy market offer strategies, evaluating and optimizing energy model performance, evaluating and reporting on generation unit performance, evaluating and reporting on the Customer Value Realized metric, and evaluating and reporting on the performance of the companies Demand Response program performance. The analyst will evaluate these using sophisticated regression and neural network models, advanced excel spreadsheet models, and generation unit commitment models. Work closely with peers in ESO Operations, ESO Forecasting, MISO Settlements, and Generation Operations.
