Job Description:
Student Success Support Coaching, Interventions & Advising• Develops and implements strategies to improve the persistence, retention and post-graduation success of first-generation students, integrating academic, co-curricular experiences and career development support services in operations. Supports students in navigating challenges related to adjusting to college life, personal development, career exploration and post-graduation achievements.• Builds and maintains relationships with campus partners, student organizations and stakeholders to create opportunities and referrals for first-generation students to thrive at the university and beyond.
• Promotes campus resources, including academic, co-curricular and extracurricular activities that support learner world readiness as students entering an ever-changing global community.
• Collaborates with faculty, staff, and other campus partners to create and implement programs and initiatives that address barriers to student persistence, retention and desired post-graduation outcomes.
Tracking, Reporting, and Program Evaluation (10%)
• Tracks and monitors student progress through regular evaluation and assessments of engagement.
• Collaborates with faculty and academic advisors to identify students who need additional support and coordinate timely interventions.
• Uses student engagement data and feedback to assess the effectiveness of strategies, interventions, programs and services to aid in making data-informed adjustments to improve outcomes.
Expected Salary:$50,000.00
Minimum Requirements:
Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
EDUCATION & TRAINING: Master’s degree in marketing, education, training and development, human resources, higher education administration, student personnel services, or related fieldEXPERIENCEOTHER QUALIFICATIONS
