Job Description

Hybrid role - Melville 3 days / Remote 2 days

EGC Group is growing our development team! Work will primarily consist of making template edits on our existing client websites, and completely new website builds. The majority of projects entail building custom responsive templates within WordPress CMS and other CMS platforms.

Please provide a link to an online portfolio with examples of your work. A list of links is also an acceptable alternative.  

Requirements

• You have at least 2 years of professional experience in website development.
• Agency experience or in house experience from a brand
• You are knowledgeable in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, and JavaScript / jQuery.
• Experience working with Bootstrap framework.
• You have a strong grasp of responsive and mobile development basic principles.
• You have a working knowledge of WordPress CMS and the ability to create and modify templates in PHP.
• You have basic working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, and know how to work with PSDs to export image assets for web use.
• You can work with other teams within the agency to achieve project goals.
• You are extremely resourceful, detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects in an agency environment.

 

Pluses

• User Experience (UX) strategy and wireframes.
• eCommerce experience (WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento).
• Experience with multiple CMS and CRM platforms.
• Knowledge of WCAG ADA standards.
• Ability to work with APIs.
