Full Time Traveling Construction Superintendent (Multifamily Tenant Improvement Projects) Job Description

Location: Charlotte, NC to start and ability to travel nationwide.

Compensation: $80,000-130,000 pending experience

The Construction Superintendent is responsible for the overall management and coordination of all construction activities on assigned projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing complex Multi-family and/or Hospitality construction projects, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of construction projects, from planning and budgeting to execution and closeout
• Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors and other construction personnel
• Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Resolve construction problems and issues in a timely and efficient manner
• Communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders
• Maintain accurate and complete project records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field or proven work experience
• 5+ years of experience in the construction industry, as a Superintendent working similar projects
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction software
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to travel as needed to various jobsites nationwide for an extended period of timejob sites
