Are you a hands-on, reliable team player looking to build your career in a dynamic manufacturing environment? We’re looking for a Trade Assistant to support our skilled tradespeople in delivering high-quality work while ensuring a safe and efficient workspace.
As a Trade Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our fitters, boilermakers, and wider team with:
General labouring tasks to assist with fabrication, assembly, and repairs
Preparing materials and maintaining tools and equipment
Keeping the job site clean, safe, and organised
Operate machines and usie hand tools to assemble components
Translating technical drawings and schematics into quality work
Supporting stores and inventory management as required
More than 2 years of general assembly job experience
Mechanical knowledge/experience required
Electrical knowledge an advantage
Prior experience in a similar role or a manufacturing/workshop environment
Ability to use hand and power tools and operate machinery safely and effectively
Physically fit and ability to lift approx. 25kg
Must be able to see details at close range
Good understanding of workplace health & safety practices
Forklift licence, Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Licence, Crane training and certificate (or willing to obtain)
