Job Description

Patreon is a media and community platform where creators give their biggest fans access to exclusive work and experiences. Over 300k creators are cultivating fandoms and building their businesses each month. Creators can offer free memberships to fans looking to explore more of their work, paid memberships to give access to exclusive media and community, or sell directly to fans with Shops.

Ultimately our goal is simple: fund the creative class. And we're leaders in that space, with:

  • 8B+ earned since Patreon's inception
  • 30M free new memberships in the first year of launching that option, and
  • 10M fans paying each month for exclusive access to creators' work and community.

We're continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator products with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for a Technical Recruiter to support our mission.

This role is based in San Francisco and open to those who are able to be in-office 2 days per week on a hybrid work model.

What you will do:

  • Partner with Engineering, product, and design hiring managers and stakeholders to effectively scale the team by crafting hiring strategies rooted in a strong understanding of the business and talent landscape.
  • Build a robust pipeline of top talent using comprehensive and creative sourcing methods.
  • Own and drive the end-to-end recruiting process, including job descriptions, interview plans, pipeline management, salary recommendations, and closing candidates.
  • Organize and facilitate interview debriefs and be a trusted voice in difficult conversations that result in decision-making.
  • Use data to proactively identify and anticipate roadblocks and find solutions that ensure candidates and hiring teams receive the best possible experience.

Skills and experience you possess:

  • 3 + years of full-cycle recruiting experience for technical roles at high-growth, startups.
  • Experience using talent market insights and data to influence decisions within the leadership groups and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated success designing and implementing effective sourcing and closing strategies based on an understanding of the market.
  • Skilled at operating with a high sense of urgency in all stages of the recruiting cycle.
  • Self-driven with the ability to be scrappy and resourceful
