We're looking for a highly motivated Sr. Actuarial Consultant to support our variable annuity asset liability management strategy. You'll play a key role in statutory and other stochastic scenario generation for VA and RILA products. What You'll Do:
Risk Management Partner: Support the hedging and risk management of variable annuities (VA), fixed annuities (FA), and structured indexed annuities (SIA).
ESG Advocate: Support the implementation of the Stat ESG for company-wide statutory and capital reporting. Prior experience with Conning ESG is a big plus!
Project Manager: Collaborate with internal teams to define business specifications, manage project progress and timelines, and ensure smooth process flows.
Communicator: Clearly communicate the impact of ESG on various product lines.
Real-Time Problem Solver: Be agile and versatile in addressing risk management issues, using quantitative analysis tools and concepts.
Regulatory Expert: Stay informed about reporting metrics for public insurance companies and understand the impact of regulatory changes on capital and risk management.
Technical Innovator: Utilize your advanced programming skills (Python strongly preferred, Matlab, VBA, SQL, C++, etc.) to develop and enhance analytical tools.
Collaborative Partner: Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What You'll Bring:
Degree in mathematics, statistics, or actuarial science.
Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA), Fellowship preferred.
Strong computing and programming skills (Python strongly preferred, Matlab, VBA, SQL, C++, etc.).
Experience with PathWise is a plus.
Experience with big data analysis is a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
What We Offer:
Competitive Compensation: $110,000 - $145,000 base salary plus performance-based incentives.
