Primary Care Nurse Practitioner – Fort Meyers, Florida
COMPENSATION: Salary $140k + $10k Bonus

Responsibilities
  • 18 patients a day

  • Hours: Monday – Friday work schedule; Clinic Hours 7:30a – 5:00p (last patient is scheduled at 4:15)

  • Work/Life Balance

  • Small Patient Panel – 450 patients’ max

  • Administrative time included in schedule

  • No nights or weekends

  • 100% outpatient

  • Dedicated Care and support team (have your own MA/Scheduler/

  • Patient Population: Seniors with 3-5 chronic diseases

  • Value Based Care

  • Outpatient primary care

Clinic offers:

  • Inhouse Consulting Specialist: Cardiology, Podiatry and more

  • Holistic Health Services: Acupuncture, Tai Chi, Yoga and Nutrition

  • Door to Door Transportation

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Family Medicine or Geriatric Medicine

  • Primary care Nurse Practitioner outpatient experience 2+ years

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

  • National Institutes of Health (NIH)

  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

  • Active unencumbered Florida Internal Medicine state license

  • Graduate from a fully accredited Nurse Practitioner program

  • One year of work experience as Family Practice Nurse Practitioner

  • One year of EMR experience

  • Board Certified

  • Maintains and updates clinical knowledge and skills.

  • Participates in relevant continuing education programs.

  • Knowledge of and dedication to the highest patient care and provide the utmost service excellence to all patients.

  • Ability to take initiative and to exercise independent judgment, decision-making and problem-solving expertise.

  • A can-do, team oriented attitude is essential, as the ability to work independently and to interact easily with physicians, other managers and staff throughout the department and hospital.

  • Effective interpersonal/communication, organizational, and the flexibility to handle multiple tasks.
