As an RN Supervisor, you will provide direct nursing care, clinical administration, and supervision of nursing staff at the Children's Health Center clinic in Westwood. Our clinic is focused on the pediatric population's primary and specialty needs and sees some of the most acute cases in outpatient care. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: + Delegate and supervise RNs, LVNs, and MA personnel + Coordinate clinical staff schedules, review timesheets, and provide evaluation and discipline + Train staff members and ensure completion of competencies + Responsible for ordering clinic supplies and medications + Perform patient assessment and care + Oversight and quality control of immunizations + Collaborate with Pediatrics Clinical Chiefs and CHC Medical Director to implement various projects Salary Range: $59.67-138.60 Hourly This position is eligible for full benefits (medical, dental, vision, PTO, etc) as of the first day of work. Learn about UCLA Health's culture and great benefits at: Qualifications Required: + Three years of acute care, urgent care, or ambulatory clinic Pediatric experience + Minimum one year of supervisory experience + Current California RN license + Bachelor's Degree in Nursing + Possession of current BLS and/or PALS certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross + Phlebotomy and IV skills + Knowledge of the Pediatric and Adult patient population and practice operations + Knowledge of all aspects, procedures and medication administration in an urgent care or ambulatory setting + Experience and knowledge to accurately screen and triage acute patients + Knowledge and experience to recognize abnormal laboratory values and respond Preferred: + Possession of PICC line certification + Knowledge and skill in central line catheter management and access + Skill in usage of medical diagnostic equipment, as well as working knowledge of instruments and supplies required to perform necessary blood tests and procedures + Proficient in Point of Care testing UCLA Health welcomes all individuals, without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin or disabilities, and we proudly look to each person's unique achievements and experiences to further set us apart.
