The Locksmith as a full-time, on-site position responsible for the for maintenance, repair and minor construction for facility components and lock systems.
Responsibilities + Install, maintain, repair, open, and change locks on doors and other structures, as needed. + Duplicate keys, re-key locks, and service electronic access equipment and devices using special tools and equipment, as needed. + Maintain a thorough record of changes and additions to the facility’s Key System. + Maintain and repair automated door openers and hold opens for ADA access points. Qualifications + Must be a US Citizen. + Must possess a HS Diploma or GED. + Must successfully complete a background check to include criminal and credit and obtain a government Top Secret clearance. + Must be able to pass a pre-employment Drug Test. + Possess or able to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance with eligibility to access Sensitive Compartmented Information. + Must have a working knowledge of various power saws and basic woodworking principles. + Possess 3 – 5 years of experience performing locksmith duties. + Must possess or be able to obtain a forklift license. Desired Qualifications: + Possess a Top-Secret security clearance with eligibility to access Sensitive Compartmented Information. + 0-2 years of woodworking experience. + Possess a current forklift license.
