About the Role:
Our tasting room offers guests a welcoming space to explore and enjoy our wines in an informative, relaxed atmosphere. As a tasting room associate, you’ll play a key role in guiding guests through their tasting journey, sharing insights into our small-batch wines, and ensuring each visitor leaves with a memorable experience. We prioritize maintaining a clean, organized environment, delivering attentive service, and fostering genuine connections with our customers.
Responsibilities
• Pour and describe wines with expertise, passion, and enthusiasm, creating an engaging experience for guests.
• Actively promote and sell wine club memberships, wines, food, and merchandise to enhance customer experience.
• Manage transactions efficiently, including operating the cash register.
• Support the team in daily duties including but not limited to opening and closing duties, including cleaning, restocking and organizing the tasting room to ensure a welcoming environment.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and alcohol service guidelines.
• Efficiently process and pack wine orders with precision and care.
• Maintain a clean and organized tasting room at all times.
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications/Experience:
• Previous experience in a tasting room or customer service setting is preferred.
• A professional, courteous, and approachable demeanor.
• Proven ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing outstanding guest experiences.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
