About the Job:

Box Office staff at Laugh Boston are often the first faces that greet our guests and sets the tone for their experience. They must have a friendly, helpful demeanor and be driven by a solutions-oriented approach to their work. 

 
Responsibilities: 

• Box office staff are responsible for managing the guest line prior to each show
• Scanning tickets and ensuring guests meet all age requirements for the venue;
• Reporting out show statistics before and after each show
• Providing an overall welcoming atmosphere for guests as they arrive.

Additional Requirement Include:

• Able to legally work in the United States of America.
• Be friendly and have the eagerness to help people.
• Have a clear speaking voice and communicate effectively.
• Know how to write clear and tonally friendly sentences.
• Be comfortable working on a computer. 
• Experience with online ticketing systems an asset.
• Able to work 2-3 shifts per week with at least one day of weekend availability.

Laugh Boston is an entertainment venue at 425 Summer Street inside the Westin Waterfront Hotel in Boston's Seaport District. It boasts a 5,000-square-foot space and features local comedians and nationally touring headliners. With its Skyline Room, which can seat up to 300 guests, Laugh Boston is the perfect location to host events ranging from catered dinners to fashion shows and even wrestling matches!
