Responsibilities

The Anesthesia Tech is directly responsible to the Circulating RN, OR Charge Nurse, and the Director of Peri-Operative Services, and indirectly to the shift Nursing Supervisor. Assists the Anesthesiologists and co- workers in the provision of continuous, quality patient care for, pediatrics , adolescents, adults and older adults. Responsible for adhering to regulations, standards, hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

  1. Graduate of an Anesthesia Tech training program or on the job training with a minimum of 2 years experience in a surgical setting preferred.
  2. BCLS upon hire and maintain current.
  3. Certification preferred.
